Mappillai Samba, the robust red rice traditionally fed to grooms-to-be for strength before a wedding, is flattened here into a hearty, fibre-rich poha with a distinct reddish hue. Its firmer texture holds up well to a proper tempering of mustard, curry leaves, and peanuts for a substantial breakfast. No added sugar or preservatives, just the traditional red rice pressed flat.
