Horse gram, or kollu, has long been a Tamil Nadu household staple valued for its warming, protein-rich profile, roasted and ground here into an easy soup mix. Just simmer with water and a few spices for a hearty bowl that is ready in minutes, no overnight soaking needed. No preservatives, no shortcuts, just roasted kollu goodness the way it has always been made.
